Larry Stein is the administrator for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. He is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the Trust and TMAIT Financial Services. This includes growth, stability, service, and maintaining a viable product that can compete in a difficult market. Prior to joining TMAIT, he was the District Manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas in its Austin office. Larry was also the benefits manager for the University of Texas at Austin for a number of years before joining Blue Cross. He is a graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos.

James Prescott has been employed by TMAIT for more than 15 years. James has 28 years of experience in the life insurance, health insurance, disability insurance, property/casualty insurance, and employee benefits development and management industry. James' primary responsibilities include developing the marketing strategies employed by TMAIT, product research and development, and oversight of the new accounts, customer relations, and billing departments. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Robert Rabideau coordinates the marketing and advertising of products and services offered by TMAIT. He coordinates requests for information received with staff, as well as website enhancements and changes. Robert worked in the financial industry for 20 years, prior to coming to TMAIT in 1998.

Nealy Ramirez is the New Business Sales Manager for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. She is responsible for managing the sales representatives for all products offered by TMAIT. Nealy has more than 11 years of experience in the insurance industry and has been with TMAIT for nine years. Prior to joining TMAIT Nealy worked for PCA and United Healthcare in Austin in their customer service divisions.

Liz West is a New Business Sales Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. She is responsible for providing advice and counsel to TMA members who have questions about their insurance program. Liz specializes in individual long-term disability, life and individual medical coverage. She has been with TMAIT for almost 20 years and has worked in the claims department and served as an auditor. In addition to working with TMA members to help them design their insurance portfolio, Liz also manages the group insurance accounts for the residents at University of Texas Medical Foundation at Houston, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, and Methodist Hospital of Dallas. Liz graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

Edward VanWisse is a New Business Sales Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. He is responsible for providing advice and counsel to TMA members who have questions about their insurance program. Edward specializes in individual health, disability, and life insurance. In addition to working with TMA members to help them design their insurance portfolio, Edward also manages the group insurance accounts for the residents at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and Scott & White Hospital in Temple. He has been with TMAIT for 13 years. Edward is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and holds a master's degree from Texas State University in San Marcos.

Omar Morales is a New Business Sales Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. He is responsible for providing advice and counsel to TMA members who have questions about their insurance program. Omar has been with TMA for more than 10 years. During his time at TMAIT, Omar has worked in several departments; he currently specializes in servicing our existing customers and assists other staff members in new-business life insurance.

Kerrie Rodriguez is a New Business Sales Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. She is responsible for providing advice and counsel to TMA members who have questions about their insurance program. Kerrie specializes in Employer Group health, life, and disability coverage. During her 17 years with TMAIT, Kerrie has worked in a number of positions within the organization.

Wendy Hiles is a Junior Account Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. Wendy is a graduate of the University of Texas. She was hired as a full-time employee at TMAIT in 2000. She originally worked in the support services department as the mail clerk. Currently, she works with the new business sales department coordinating and supporting the application process. Prior to joining TMAIT, Wendy worked in the travel industry.

Ricki Chapman is a Senior Account Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. She specializes in assisting TMAIT members with resolving health claim reimbursement issues. Ricki has more than 31 years of experience in the health insurance industry and more than 20 years with TMAIT. During her tenure with TMAIT, Ricki's responsibilities have included positions as a claims examiner, claims auditor, and claims manager.

Connie Meadows is a Senior Account Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. Her primary responsibilities are to resolve medical claim issues, long-term disability claim issues and office overhead or business overhead claim issues for TMA members. Connie has more than 28 years of experience with TMAIT. During that time, Connie has managed our communication department and handled a variety of duties ranging from customer service to interacting with our insurance company partners.

Doris Rapp is the Account Services Manager/Billing Manager for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. Doris is responsible for managing the premium billing function at TMAIT. She and her staff interact with TMA members and the various insurance companies for which TMAIT provides billing services. Doris has worked at TMAIT for more than 25 years. During her tenure with TMAIT, she has performed a variety of roles, including enrollment supervisor, account services manager, and billing manager. Doris completed her college studies at Central Texas College in Killeen.

Carol Bowen is an Account Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. Her specialty is working with the allocation of money for all billed accounts. She also works closely with individual physician billing issues. Carol has worked at TMAIT for more than 17 years. During that time she has worked in both the accounting and billing departments. Carol is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in business administration.

Karen Bailey is an Account Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. Her primary responsibility at TMAIT is group billing for physicians and their employees. Karen has worked at TMAIT for seven years in both our information services and billing departments. Karen is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in marketing.

Cammy Perry is an Account Representative for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust. Cammy handles the premium transactions with our bank for all individual and group insurance customers. She also processes refunds for physician and employer group plans. Cammy has worked at TMAIT for six years.

Lorinda Moeller, TMAIT's administrative clerk, has been a member of the support services team since 2004 and is responsible for processing TMAIT mail. She also provides administrative support to the account representatives and is cross-trained to assist other members of the support services team.

Sylvia Edwards is TMAIT's Support Services Manager and Executive Assistant to the TMAIT Administrator and Associate Administrator. She and her staff are the first people our customers speak to when they contact TMAIT. Sylvia takes pride in the fact that our customers are able to speak live to a knowledgeable employee who can direct them to the proper resource rather than a series of voice recordings so common in business today. Her staff maintains our customer files, issues certificates of insurance, and coordinates with the membership department at TMA to make sure TMA members do not lose their coverage. Sylvia has been with TMAIT for more than 15 years. She also staffs the TMAIT Board of Trustees and TMAIT Advisory Committee.

Toni County has been happily employed with the TMAIT for eight years. She has worked in the insurance industry for 20 years. Her current duties with TMAIT include resolving claims issues, maintaining and handling the TMAIT Membership Project, and assisting support services and other TMAIT departments with disability insurance, billing inquiries, and enrollment issues.

Joanie Dalton is usually the first contact callers and visitors have to TMAIT. She has been TMAIT's receptionist/switchboard operator for the past 15 years and prides herself on quickly identifying the different types of calls and routing them to the appropriate staff in a timely manner.
