Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) provides long-term disability, term life, and dental coverage through the Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust (TMAIT) at no cost for those enrolled in their residency programs. Our Advisors can work with you to determine what additional policies may be right for you.

Join the Texas Medical Association
To enroll in a TMAIT insurance plan, you must first be a member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA). If you are not currently a member, you can apply by filling out this form and submit it with your insurance enrollment form. TMAIT pays both your county and state medical society dues while you are enrolled in your residency program.
New and current residents:
Enroll in a TMAIT insurance plan or make changes to your current policy. Download the form, fill it out, and fax it to TMAIT at 512.370.1799 or mail it to: Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust, PO Box 1707, Austin, TX 78767-1707
