TMA Member Long Term Disability Insurance Rate Calculator

TMA Insurance Trust offers a variety of disability insurance plans including our exclusive TMA Member group plan, individual policies from leading, national carriers and a high benefit plan for high income earners. For each type of coverage, we have negotiated special savings for TMA members.

Our primary goal is to help you be sure your income is well protected. However, we know the cost of coverage is a primary consideration. Our TMA Member Long Term Disability Plan is our most cost-effective option. We developed this easy-to use calculator so you can adjust the monthly benefit and waiting period to help you find a rate you will prefer. You will also be able to submit a quote request for an individual policy if you wish to compare these options.

The calculator will display premium rates with and without a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA)* so you can see how this optional benefit affects the rate. Our standard member rates will be displayed along with member rates with a special 25% Thank You Credit** so you can see how much more you will save.

* An optional inflation protection feature for participants under the age of 65 helps protect the buying power of your disability benefits. Automatic annual increases to your disability benefits equal to the lesser of 6 percent, or 50 percent of the increase in the Consumer Price Index for that year.

**Effective 8/1/2019, TMA Insurance Trust is able to provide participants with a premium credit of 25% that will be applied to their billing invoices, effectively decreasing the amount of their premium payments by 25%. This complimentary premium credit is provided at the sole discretion of the TMA Insurance Trust, is not guaranteed for future years, and will be subject to periodic review and evaluation.

TMA Member Long Term Disability Plan is issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ. The Booklet-certificate contains all details, including any policy exclusions, limitations and restrictions, which may apply. CA COA #1179, NAIC #68241.
