"I have been a member of TMA since 1969. For the past several decades I can state that no service or provider for any TMA program has been more helpful, prompt, professional and knowledgeable in helping my Group (The Texas Lung Institute) than Liz West and TMAIT."

- Dr. Gary Friedman

PPO Coverage For Solo and Small Practice Owners

If you’ve been exploring your options, you may already know that individual PPO plans are no longer available in Texas. But under certain situations it may possible for a solo or small practice owner to qualify for a PPO plan as a “Group of One” – even if it’s just for the physician and their family. A group of one may exist when all/most the fulltime employees have other coverage and only one person needs the coverage.

In addition, if you file as a partnership with no employees, you may be eligible too. You’ll just need to provide partnership documentation and the company’s SS4 or the most recently filed Schedule K-1 (Form 1065).
