If you, your spouse, or your children are hospitalized, the plan will pay you up to $250 per day for up to 365 days, starting from the first day of inpatient hospitalization. Whether you are having a baby, or your child is having an appendectomy, this supplemental hospital plan will protect each of you.

Unlike health insurance, this money is paid directly to you, not to the hospital or your health care providers. Therefore, the cash is yours to use as you see fit. If you wish, you can even use it for non-medical expenses such as childcare, groceries, transportation, utilities, and other bills.
