Accident Insurance Helps Fill Health Insurance Gaps

Health insurance is necessary coverage, but your coverage doesn’t offer complete protection. For your yearly exam and office visits, you may have very little personal expense. But in other circumstances, your insurance may leave a substantial balance for you to cover. What if you or a family member become injured? There may be lab tests, x-rays, professional fees, and other medical expenses. These costs can quickly accumulate.

Help as Health Care Expenses Continue to Climb

As health insurance deductibles and copays continue to climb, families and individuals are absorbing even more out-of-pocket costs. But if you or a family member is injured in an accident, you can have help in paying for the out-of-pocket medical and non-medical costs that arise. The TMA Member Accident Insurance Plan is a supplement for your health insurance coverage, especially if your plan has high out-of-pocket costs.

Added Financial Insurance Protection for Families

If you have children who participate in sports, you understand the added risk that is involved in activities like football, baseball, soccer, basketball, field hockey, track and field and lacrosse - just to name a few. Or perhaps your family enjoys active recreation, like mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, or kayaking. In all of these activities, there is a risk of injury that can result in substantial medical bills.
