Guaranteed Acceptance Ends Soon!

If you or someone you love are diagnosed with a serious illness, you must make important decisions with great urgency. And when a life is on the line, you are likely not thinking of the financial impact of the decisions you make. You would use all your resources to create a plan with the best outcome, no matter the cost. And those costs would accumulate quickly.

At times like these, additional funds to cover whatever needs you have would be most welcome. That is exactly what critical illness insurance provides.

Guaranteed Acceptance Expires March 12, 2021

Our provision of guaranteed acceptance for $20,000 of critical illness insurance expires very soon, so we urge you to enroll today.

If you are a TMA member under age 65, your acceptance is guaranteed for the TMA Member Critical Illness Plan issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America; but only until March 12.

If you apply before the deadline, there are no medical questions or underwriting. You cannot be turned down for any reason.

An Easy Supplement for Your Health Insurance Coverage

Why should you consider critical illness insurance? Even quality health insurance has limitations. Many patients today must deal with high deductibles, increasing copays, and network limitations. When a life is truly on the line, we don’t think about cost; we think in terms of what works best. Only later does the full picture of medical and non-medical expenses come into focus. You may choose out-of-network care or drugs that aren’t covered by your health insurance. These may preserve your health, but create financial disaster. (According to the National Cancer Institute, some cancer patients may face out-of-pocket costs of nearly $12,000 a year – just for the cost of one drug!*)

The TMA Member Critical Illness Plan is designed to complement your current health insurance. It can help pay for medical and non-medical expenses that may accompany a serious illness; expenses that are not covered by your plan.

The Power of Choice

Upon diagnosis of a covered critical illness the TMA Member Critical Illness Plan pays a lump sum cash payment directly to you.

You can use the payment any way you choose – for specialized medications, travel expenses for family members, the cost of a caregiver, even for a more comfortable bed to recuperate in. It is yours to spend any way you deem appropriate.

Here Are Some Of The Features Of The Plan:

  • Guaranteed acceptance for TMA members and their spouse or domestic partner under age 65 in the amount of $20,000 for members, $10,000 for partner
  • No deductibles, copays or coinsurance
  • Benefits are paid even if you have other insurance
  • Apply for coverage up to a total of $250,000
  • Easy enrollment online or you may contact an advisor
