Let Accident Insurance Catch You If You Fall

Most of us don’t choose to take unnecessary risks, but accidents still happen. Accidents and injuries can happen anytime and anywhere: driving to the grocery store, while taking on a small home improvement project, or tripping on an uneven sidewalk.

When you or a family member gets hurt, your health insurance will take care of a good portion of your medical bills. Still, there are additional medical and non-medical expenses that can accumulate quickly. Accident insurance can lend a helping hand financially.

Benefits of Accident Insurance

Accident insurance is unique. It puts a benefit in your hands fast, and gives you control on how those benefits are used. For example, your benefit payment is made based on the diagnosis. You do not have to complete treatment or provide any proof of expenses before you receive payment. Additionally, benefits are paid directly to you, not your medical provider, and you can use that lump sum benefit however you’d like. Perhaps you’ll offset medical costs like prescriptions, deductibles, or copays not covered by health insurance. Or you can choose to offset the cost of caregiving expenses, mobility aids or home safety modifications… the point is, the money is yours to use as you see fit.

Protection Up to Age 80

If you are a TMA member under age 65, you are eligible to enroll in this valuable insurance protection. Once you secure your coverage, you will be fully protected up to age 80. TMA members are also able to enroll a dependent spouse or domestic partner under age 65, and dependent children under age 26.
